toxic adults suck. I tell my adolescent family members now: please don’t be afraid to speak up and be different, because that is exactly what makes you special. Don’t cave into what mainstream society tells you to do or be. Do & be what is best for your soul. Think for yourself. Those that truly care about you, will keep caring about you, no matter what. Most importantly, don’t let a single thing get in the way of your education. And, to the adults that always pitted my sister and me against one another, and ruined our bond for most of our life because YOU perceived we looked different than one another, and therefore not sisterly ENOUGH, I hope you have gotten the help you need.
