You just spent a ton of money investing in yourself, and now they’re not gonna give you the proper instructions on how to care for your investment? That is crazy. Also, after your procedure, you’re leaving with an open wound! Not providing aftercare instructions and products leaves you open to infection and poor healing results. 🚩Certified in their craft -The certificate is the diploma that proves that the artist has finished a course that certifies them to perform the treatment. 🚩Protection from blood-borne diseases -At Pretty Dope Brows we practice strict infection control to protect everyone against blood-borne pathogens. Air-borne pathogens are usually a problem easing into the cooler months but especially during the current highly infectious climate. 🚩State license and BBP certification -The license is usually publicly displayed in the artist’s workplace, so be sure to check this when you go for your consult, if not before. Licensing regulations vary from state to state. More or less the same rules apply to all forms of permanent makeup, but if you want to be 100% sure, the best practice is to contact the health authority in charge.
