Not all sharks in California are juveniles. In fact, some of the largest sharks on the planet are found in the eastern Pacific. Here's a couple, the first is a shark that's known as "flat top" by researchers on the West Coast. It's big. The second and third clips is a shark I filmed off Rincon Point in Ventura County. It appears like it may possibly be pregnant. This shark is big. By my estimates using my sizing overlay and measuring technique, it's approximately 16-17 feet. Definitely not a juvenile. She was only 150 yards off shore btw.
