my stand-up comedy discography are back on @spotify 🥹🔥 I love creating stand up comedy albums because in college I used to listen to them in my ‘92 Honda Civic like Robin Harris “BeBe Kids”, Chris Rock: “Born Suspect” , Martin: “Talkin Shit” etc...list goes on! It felt like you were there like a fly on the wall. You can hear and feel the energy of the room. Clear jokes and clear hard hitting laughs. So inspiring to me. Created the ambition to be in that room to actually feel that energy. One person, One mic & an audience of folks! How can an art form just need those three simple things and be so profound and loud?! Giving the rapid change of the comedy industry, I felt I could control my own voice, the artwork and outlet. Not wait for anyone on top to say “I’m ready” I knew exactly the vision and the tools to do it. I meet with @blondemedicine an indie record label in 2013 and we haven’t stopped since. Yeah I have a couple of small visual comedy specials but comedy albums felt like my version of a podcast back in 2014! They’re a quick fun listen. That’s all I wanted to produce and I did. Still am.
