Darkness & Lily, now in living color. My loving tribute to the 1986 film LEGEND, the first real movie I worked on as a designer. Beginning as a graphite pencil drawing and completed in color utilizing a paint program, this piece of art was entirely created by an actual human being using their own mind and their own two hands. Every decision and every stroke was an organic, artistic decision. No 'AI' program was involved. Can you tell I've been relentlessly inundated by MidJourney images these past couple of weeks? Haha!! Btw this piece was loosely inspired by an old paperback cover by the great Robert McGinnis. However I changed it so much that it barely owes anything but a small nod to the master.
