I knew I wanted to do #kebyarduduk and my mothers experience as an Indonesian dancer and instructor needed to be utilized, I needed her coaching and approval. She studied Asian cultural dance in many forms, her love was Indonesian. Mom later in life was debilitated from numerous physical ailments and issues, for years. She left this earthly realm in November 2021 before the season aired. These images mean everything to me, I love my family. I am so proud to be the only #AAPI winner (so far). Here’s to more!
