Two weekends ago I realised that downsizing can mean living luxuriously! Our eldest daughter has recently moved into her own place and downsizing is something I’ve been thinking of a lot lately! So it makes sense to explore our options now. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to experience living at the stunning Sky Garden apartments at The Glen shopping centre in Glen Waverley. Well this is what you call low maintenance living in style! I loved the sprawling gardens, the fabulous views towards the Dandenongs and to the city, the convenient herb garden and open outdoor spaces. The lovely pool, gym, formal lounge, library and theatrette are just some of the beautiful amenities available to residents and their guests. A bonus is that the privacy and the security enables a great ‘lock up & leave’ lifestyle that would make travelling so easy. With The Glen Shopping Centre literally only a few steps away, it really is supreme convenience! I enjoyed premium shopping and dining all weekend with so many fabulous fashion brands, beauty retailers and a choice of great restaurants in the lovely dining precinct. Everyday essentials are all available with supermarkets, pharmacies, fresh food stalls, homewares, gifts, and more. The Glen is such a beautiful centre I love its wide open malls, beautiful architecture, and there are plenty of areas to sit and relax for what feels like an exclusive and intimate shopping experience. Sky Garden gave me a wonderful glimpse into downsizing with a unique luxurious and convenient lifestyle, I absolutely loved it!
