Heard it was gonna rain, thought it’d be a good time to finally try my hand at La Paz Batchoy tonight. Not bad for the first run but there are already some big things I want to tweak. Made it as close to the original like I remember.
Things I’d tweak for next time:
1. Make a more robust broth, additional bones/marrow
2. Use guinamos instead of bagoong (I stopped at 99 Ranch bc it was closer than Seafood City 😩)
3. Sous vide and grill or torch chicken livers instead of pork liver (it’s too much for me)
4. I should have bought the damn Ajinomoto 🤷🏽♀️
