A little witch makes sugar cookies... or witches brew, it’s hard to say for sure. Sugar cookies: -Cream together: 1 cup unsalted butter (room temp) 1/4 cup cream cheese (room temp) 1 cup sugar 1 egg -Add in: 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/2 tsp almond extract 1 tsp lemon zest -Combine in a separate bowl: 3 cups flour 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt -Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients -Refrigerate for 1 hour -roll out into floured work surface to desired thickness and cut out shapes -freeze cookies on cookie sheet before baking -bake at 350 degrees for 8-12 minutes Frosting: -Mix together: 1 cup powdered sugar 1 Tbs water (until desired consistency) I use thicker frosting for the edges and then thinner frosting to fill it in, in two condiment bottles.
