The first preview of my new book ‘While You Were Sleeping’ I graduated in 1997 hungry to get a foot hold and Sleazenation Magazine & The Face were a natural progression for me, they embraced the pictures I’d been making around the northern soul scene. That was my scene. ‘Sleaze’ sent me to underground clubs and parties, into scenes that were all intrinsic to uk subcultural moments, it was a hedonistic time. The towers were still standing, no such thing as bandwidth it was Nokias and a pager, Cigs and lager, ecstasy and coke.
