After having a few days to really process my race at the World Championships, I’m pleased with my performance. I feel I did a good job of staying calm amongst the madness that was that Steeple final and closing hard but there were a few things I would have liked to do differently. Overall, I can’t be too mad about finishing 6th when I also finished 6th being in sub 8:00 shape in 2015. I want to thank everyone who came out to Eugene and cheered on myself and Team USA. It was an unbelievable experience to feel the support of an entire stadium. Unfortunately, it’ll probably be the last time World Athletics ever gives us a World Champs because Team USA is absolutely dominating!! 😜 I’m so honored to be on this team. P.S.
