Can I be honest? My original design for this backdrop did not look like this. There were more accent panels, more floral, an added color to the palette, amongst other different details. But we were so busy this week not just getting ready for this event but with other business matters that I had to compromise with my design. There came a point where I said to my friends, “Forget it, it’s just a design. It doesn’t matter. What matters most is that I finally get to be around my girls! The girls who supported me through this life journey of mine!” After I came to that conclusion, I just let things go and focused on joy! As many of you know, painting brings me so much joy! Adding splatter to these balloons was so much fun, but doing it with my babes, was the cherry on top! This is a reminder to focus on joy and to be present so you don’t miss out on the joy.
