I grappled as to do a video or slides about this. Tone matters. My voice as I crafted these was one of compassion and truth. . I remember my “back corner” feelings- the disappointment, frustration, and confusion that I felt. Those moments ALSO filled me with fire and an incredible drive. . As a choreographer - I am mindful of the hearts and minds in the room AND hold these slides also as truth in what/how I create. 🤍 . I hope these slides can start helpful conversations about the complexity of being a part of a creative process, competition environments and our the parts of ownership each of us have within them 🤍
