Celebrating my mommas bday today. She would have been 68 today. Took the fam on a little excursion to honor her. Ate her favorites-lobster and shrimp! I miss her terribly but keep hearing her say “keep smiling maria.” Ever the obedient daughter, I do just that- as much as I can. Broke down the other day with kev because of course I miss her. I shared a little moment with the girls on @bettertogetherwithmaria recently pleading with them not to wait until a holiday or a birthday to celebrate your mom. Today, right now , order her some flowers and surprise her. Or a gift. Whatever it is! Random acts of love to those you love is so special. Always means more because it’s not expected. My mom always loved my little surprises. Do this for anyone you love. Friend, dad, grandparent, your barista! Whoever helps you , lifts you or makes you smile-send them one back!
