I remember one of these instances I came home from school and started vocally stimming and when my parents told me to stop I did it subconsciously so I was sent to my room for the rest of the night. I wasn’t allowed to talk to anybody or leave my room (as per usual). I remember my family was making steak, greenbeans, and potatoes. When my mom came to my room she brought me a frozen enchilada and an orange because “people like you don’t deserve to eat food like us” and thats stuck with me since. My brother later brought me a plate but it still hurt.
