Yesterday, I said goodbye to @marmarmadigan a woman who I’ve known my entire life, a second mother, an artist, a creator of beauty. When I think back to my favorite childhood and family memories, it was always with the Fullers. Our families shared a unique experience raising their children in an ashram despite our parents catholic upbringing. We shared holidays and weekends, a lifetime of memories. Her table was always set with colorful linens, fresh cut flowers and candles, every moment with family and friends captured by her camera, every sunset cherished. As I listened to her children and husband speak about her remarkable life, I was reminded to live life with less judgement and more compassion. She walked this earth and shared unconditional kindness, love and enthusiasm. Everyone was always welcome and she saw the beauty in things at a moment where others would find a flaw. I was blessed to have her as a matriarch in my life, and continue to be touched by her spirit by my friendship with her three children @clairekhodara @gracefuller @danforinsta. She was a rare bird, and now she lives within us all as we gaze into those sunsets that she loved so much.
