I recently spent four glorious days in Barbados with @visitbarbados and that wasn’t even enough to scratch the surface. Here's a quick guide on where to EAT. PLAY. STAY. BARBADOS! STAY: @hiltonbarbadosresort hosted us for our stay. Waking up daily to those ocean views were EVERYTHING! The rooms were spacious and the restaurants DELISH! PLAY: 📜 Learn about Barbados history & heritage on a Barbados Heritage Tour with Historian Morris Greenidge. 🌳 Giveback with @WalkersReserveBarbados by planting a tree. I planted a mooringa tree and it was so much fun, plus it was for a good cause! Barbados aims to plant 1 MILLION trees #1tree1bajan 😃 Adventure with @Harrisons_Cave and go ziplining and cave exploring. 🛥 Take a luxury catamaran cruise with @Unseen.Barbados, with private chef @ByTStoute who whipped up some of my favorite eats on the island. 🕯 Concoct hand-crafted scents and candles at @nativecandlesbb 🥃 Rum is the drink of Barbados. Take a tour, pour it up, and drink it down at @MountGayRum. 🕺🏽Party the night away in the Gap (a strip lined with bars and clubs). EAT: 🤤 The jerk chicken at The Grille at @hiltonbarbadosresort was finger lickin’ good! 🍗 Speaking of chicken, KFC hits different in Barbados, even the locals love it. 😋 You can’t visit Barbados and not try Chefette (apparently it’s Rihanna’s favorite food spot). The rum raisin ice cream was a huge hit! 🍤 Go to the Friday fish fry at @oistinsbarbados. It’s a whole Friday night vibe with food, vendors, music and people dancing the night away. 🥪 Local tip: the best fish sandwiches on the island are at Cuzz. I ran out of time and didn’t get to try them, but @martysandiego confirmed this to be true. 🖼 @champersbarbados for beautiful views on the water and an art gallery upstairs. 🍹 If you do not visit anywhere else in Barbados, make sure you visit Village Bar. It is a local hotspot where day drinking, dancing, and dining are on the menu. And the views 😩🙌🏾😍 🌊 @Baia.Barbados has a sexy scene, delicious drinks and its right on the water (it’s a little far out though). 🥗 @CKBarbados for brunch or lunch. @worldofawanderer | #travelisthenewclub
