Last week, the @MassGeneralBrigham Police and Security Department cruised into the holiday spirit, collecting over 300 new, unwrapped toys for patients at Mass General for Children and Mass General Brigham health centers.
As Santa’s sleigh made its final preparations, St. Nick and his trusty elves—better known as security officers—revved up the festivities, filling six police cars with generous donations from staff and patients during their first “Stuff a Cruiser” event.
"Each toy donated will help bring a little joy to children and families dealing with medical, social, and financial challenges this season," said Kristen Cuevas, Mass General officer and event organizer. "Our officers work closely with these families year-round, so it's incredibly rewarding to be able to brighten their holidays. It's inspiring to see our hospital community come together to support our youngest patients."
The Police and Security Department extends heartfelt thanks to the hospital and system community for their incredible generosity, which made this event such a success.
