Each year, Master Blender Stephanie Macleod introduces a limited edition batch as part of Aberfeldy’s Exceptional Cask Series. Sourced from the finest oak barrels, the aging process marries the unique taste of Aberfeldy with the oak to create a one of a kind single cask finish. Last year we presented the 18 Year Old Côte Rôtie—a sweet yet smooth dram that expressed notes of dried vine fruits and star anise thanks to a 4-5 month finishing period in French red wine casks.
