Neuromodulators or neurotoxins like Botox, Dysport and Jeuveau are traditionally used to treat lines created by repetitive muscle movement like forehead lines, the “11” lines between the brows and crows feet ( although we use it for a lot of other things as well... TMJ/ Neck lInes/ creepiness of the skin / excessive sweeting/ gummy smiles to name a few). The product is injected with perfect placement into the muscle and it takes about 7 days to kick in and lasts about 3 months. A brand new product DAXXIFY was just approved and can last up to 6-9 months. I am excited to bring on this new product. While results may last longer, the same product is not right for everyone... my choice of products for my patients is very individualized ...
