Another new L’Rain (@turrelljames) song is out today - “Blame Me” - along with an accompanying music video, which is not to be missed. In my opinion, this was the song that got us working in earnest on what would become FATIGUE, the forthcoming LP. I always thought there was a feeling of “transmission” to this recording - as if it’s beaming in from some far away place, time, and space. And that theme of transmission is something we tried to instill in other songs across the album. Special thanks to @annathewise and @jonbap for their gorgeous background vocals. They provide such devastating pathos and sadness to that end refrain. Anna was holding their baby while she sang in my studio and if you solo her tracks you can hear the little one cooing gently.
