I don’t normally post all of my low quality zoom meetings 😮‍💨) BUT the anti-hate and discrimination advisory council for @dallascityhall held our quarterly meeting. I’m the youngest member and sometimes I get intimidated recommending policy alongside CEOs and directors 🥲🥲🫣🫣 Super excited to say we’re moving forward with two action items that I helped draft/strategize/and consult on. 1. On September 20th, we are launching an official media campaign in partnership with the FBI to disseminate info of when, where, and why you should report racially charged crime 2. And, on the heels of the hate crime that occurred in Plano just a few days ago, we will be holding in anti hate forum in October, in partnership with the Department of Justice. We will feature panelists such as the @naacp #dallas #texas
