So What’s It Like?! To just have a baby, get a new agent and pursue what you LOVE...Just know it ain’t for the weak!! And it most certainly ain’t overnight!!🗣 There were sleepless nights (a helluva lot lol) but I made it out just fine. You tell yourself these nights are what makes the winner in you WIN! There were times that I was pumping and/or nursing at 4am with sides in my hands. Falling asleep on the pump with sides in my hands. To get a few hours of sleep and then wake to study more before I tape. I’ve had call backs where I just wrapped up pumping in the car to walk into a producer zoom session. I’ve had live zoom auditions with my breast engorged because casting pushed back the time from the original time my pump was aligned for! I’ve pumped/studied in every place imaginable and the most peculiar places. I booked my first pilot a couple months after signing. Shot the pilot while being on a very strict pump schedule all while feeling the woes of being away from my baby and not nursing her for weeks. I’ve shipped breast milk across the world on dry ice numerous times. I helped produce dope project w/ my classmate who’s whole clan accepted me as a partner and they are now my dawgs. Was on our set pumping in the wardrobe dept. I’ve auditioned for every CD that I prayed I would get in front of🤯I’ve connected w/some amazing humans who I’ve grown to love & support their journey just as much as mine. I ended my breastfeeding journey focused on this years pilot season! And let’s not forget life is happening...business, raising my 2 big kids, being a supportive fiancé! But no complaints, Life Is Good! With grace I count every Win, Blessing & (L)esson😊 So here’s to the last 10 months of my journey. I am grateful for my agent! The support of my mother & my fiancé who run these lines with me all night if need be❤️ My close friends & family that keep me sane! Such a transitional year ahead, I can feel it! Ohhh and my little Baby Goose💰 is creeping up on a year and a half!
