I’m simultaneously deeply sad and hopeful about what has been happening inside Iran since the murder of #mahsaamini by the morality police. The people of the Iran are taking risks with their lives by speaking up against the repression and violence of their government. Amplifying their voices seems like a paltry act by comparison, but I hoped by speaking with the wonderful @iamnazaninnour to further educate myself on the full context of what is happening there and how to be of service. I support women’s right to autonomy, and to be treated as equals, regardless of where they are in the world. It’s so easy to turn a blind eye when it’s not happening in our country, or apply the lens of moral relativism. I seriously enjoyed and value @iamnazaninnour’s perspective and I hope you find it valuable too.
