I'm so so honored to start my #NFT journey with this constellation of artists, but especially generous and incredible people, who move worlds through their work ❤️‍🔥. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ___ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ MAGMA is an online exhibition curated by @occulted and presented as a WORLD on @withfoundation with support from @themintfund . ⠀⠀⠀ With NFT auctions going live on September 15th and 30th ~ link in bio 🌐✨! ⠀⠀⠀ Artists from MAGMA @occulted , @gabrielmassan , @cyshimi , @rycca.lee, @keltoncf , @m0xc4 , @jeanpetra , @nickellygarbaje_ , @raycastelo_ , @bornalongaroad , @foguentinheonline , @ladyletal and @estilara_ ⠀⠀⠀ MAGMA ⠀⠀⠀ It’s inherent to marketplaces the necessity of multiple actors, but when we cannot translate this to collectiveness then what is in motion is a system of inequality maintained by uneven distribution and possession of resources. Despite this and the new challenges world wide, many artists have persevered in their practices and found in each other the strength to create a supportive network - which in this case led these fourteen brazilian artists to NFTs, a space that allows new strategies and the construction of systems of values. ⠀⠀⠀ Through the years they have been active in underground scenes and many cultural events, reinforcing the value of community while producing dissident art. With different backgrounds intersected by night life and online culture, these artists through a variety of praxis and mediums, aim to find a fertile ground to be watered by the artistry of the global South.
