One more at bat, one more ground ball, one more practice, one more pre game meal, one more post game meal, one more bus ride, one more round of BP, one more pen, one more team prayer, one more team stretch, one more in-and-out, and one more gear day. You don’t realize you miss it, until you don’t have it. 6 years gone like that. I thought I had forever. Blessings upon blessings - failure upon failure. This team, school, and staff is my home. Leaving home is something I never thought I’d do. “All good things come to an end”. Coaches, thank you for your time and effort poured into me. Teammates, thank you for making baseball a little bit easier. Mom, thank you for being my ride for 4 short years. Thank you for bringing me clothes and equipment I seemed to always forget at home. Thank you for believing in me at my lowest. You are an absolute gem. Dad, thank you for the late night talks when you had to be up early for work. Thank you for always trying to find a way to help me get better. Thank you for believing I can do anything on the field I want to. You planted a love in me I will never forget.
