Well she did it! Yesterday I received my BFA in musical theatre with an emphasis in dance. This nervous 18 year old moved her entire life four years ago to Chicago without knowing a soul, and now I can easily say it was the best decision I have ever made. There I found lifelong friendships, incredible mentorship, and unwavering support for one another and our artistry. Most importantly I found my voice as a young woman and as an artist. I am forever grateful for everyone who has taken this journey with me and helped me along the way. I could not have done this without you. While I am sad to see this chapter of my life come to a close, I am so hopeful and excited for the future.
