What a Saturday night! There aren’t many productions I’d travel 60 miles - and four trains - to get to. But this one is so blooming special to my heart. It’s the fourth time I’ve been lucky enough to see this revised production of @josephmusical and not since Roger & Hammerstein have we had a musical partnership as exciting as @linzihateley and @jacyarrow To recap, Linzi inspired my love of musical theatre from an early age as I treasured the original cast recording of Joseph (on CD 🤭) and blasted it out daily on repeat. So many emotions and childhood memories are wrapped up in this production... and this time it only took 30 secs of the opening Prologue for me to shed a few tears! Absolutely magical and Prologue, Close Every Door, Potiphar and Any Dream Will Do are still my faves. And it was incredible to see regional theatre thriving post lockdown with a packed out theatre and electric audience.
