I don’t typically post on anniversaries, but this one feels particularly meaningful. 18 years! The number eighteen holds much significance within Jewish numerology. It means LIFE. The Hebrew letters that spell “chai”, meaning “living”, add up to 18. And because 36 = 2x18, it represents “two lives”. The merging and meandering of two lives is a wild and beautiful thing. If you would’ve told us 18 years ago that our marriage would be faced with a second trimester miscarriage and a handful of years later, breast cancer, we wouldn’t have believed you. Not even for a second. We were young and boldly and blissfully unaware of what the future held. I am beyond lucky to have this extraordinary human by my side through it all—and look so forward to loads more music, dancing, travel, hand holding and memory making. As you may remember, I’m married to a rainbow baby, and today is national rainbow baby day. He is one and we created one. Perpetually in awe of the profundity of life’s twists and turns.
