One person I have been hoping to meet in the running community has been @tommy_rivs and today it finally happened. 🖤Tommy, is a professional ultra-runner, accomplished marathoner, speaker, iFit trainer, physical therapist and cancer warrior. Anyone who has or has had cancer will tell you that only those who go through the fight truly know what it’s like to take on this battle. It was a blessing to finally meet him and talk to him and share my story of being diagnosed in March with Stage 4 Ovarian cancer. Getting back to running after all the chemo and the surgeries hasn’t been easy for me. It’s a slow go. But @ifit has this @bostonmarathon program where I have been training with Tommy at my gym. It is so much fun.
