Mayonnaise is one dairy-free option that creates lush creamy dressings but there’s another simple trick we love just as much...whisking tahini and water. By whisking cold water into tahini you create a creamy texture with a nutty background, that when combined with other herbs and vinegars, creates a savory and satiating dressing. This one is for all the balsamic fans! When you’re looking for a good balsamic make sure to check the label to avoid ones that are full of sugar. Go for less sweet options or ones that are naturally sweetened, like the one we used, which has date syrup as the sweetener. CREAMY BALSAMIC TAHINI DRESSING Serves: 2-4 portions Prep time: 5 mins Ingredients: ✨2 Tbsp tahini ✨2 Tbsp balsamic (our was sweetened with date syrup - you made need to add a touch of maple syrup if your balsamic is more vinegar forward) ✨1 tsp of fresh thyme (or 1⁄2 tsp dried) ✨1 garlic clove, crushed ✨2 Tbsp olive oil ✨sea salt and black pepper ✨1-2 Tbsp cold water Steps: 1️⃣ Add everything, except for the water, to a small bowl and stir together. 2️⃣ Slowly pour in the water while whisking until you have a smooth and creamy texture, adjust with extra water as needed.
