Peres Projects is pleased to announce Melike Kara's participation in the 58th Carnegie International which is entitled “Is it morning for you yet?” at the Carnegie Museum of Art, in Pittsburg. Curated by Sohrab Mohebbi, the exhibition brings together new commissions, existing works and projects by established and emerging artists from around the world. “Is it morning for you yet?” traces the geopolitical imprint of the United States since 1945 to situate the “international” within a local context.
