Smoke be darned, the annual Great @RenoBalloon Race — the world's largest free hot-air ballooning event — is still delighting thousands of friends, families & photographers by adding some floating colors to Reno's iconic skyline. --- Yesterday, Reno local @alleyroseco snapped these pics and shared these pro tips for future visitors: Gates open at 3:30AM! ☀️ Bring your pep, some coffee, and get ready for the super glow show at 5AM (it’s worth it!) You just can’t bring your dog 🐶 😢 Bring sleeping bags, pillows & sweaters! Some people (not naming names) like to nap after we find a spot to hunker down 💤 If you forget your own snacks or warm clothing don’t worry! There’s plenty of swag for you to buy! 🤑 If it’s your first time, you can’t beat being up close to the balloons!
