Roxanne’s in known for a lot of things. Cocktails, late night fun, big events but what often seems to get lost in the mix is that at the heart of it all is that it is at the end of everyday, a family owned business. Long Beach is an important part of our identity but at the root of our history is that of our Salvadoran culture which we share with some of our staff including our Head Cook Susy Rios (@chefsusiveth) . A native of El Salvador we are excited to enter this new program with her, where every Thursday we will be working with her to make some off menu items to enjoy during your lunch time or right after work. While traditionally pupusas are the first and only food conjured up when you think of Salvadoran food, there is an entire array of dishes, sides and desserts that Susy is on an adventure to rediscover. Here at Roxanne’s, we are excited to taste every dish that comes out of her kitchen and we would love for you to join us in this adventure. Every Thursday we will be making small batches and rotating items, with the menu being posted every Wednesday. The menu will be available for lunch hours throughout the end of dinner service (12p-7p) so you can enjoy a home cooked meal during lunch or after work. We look forward to seeing you here! #foodistagram #foodielovers #foodbuddy #foodvideography #foodisfun #photooftheday #picoftheday #instafoodporn #tastethisnext #foodiefeature #foodofinsta
