I’ve been getting asked this a lot since purchasing @railwaycoffee and Yes! I am still the Director of @campchyoca I cannot wait for this summer! This is the team that worked a miracle for campers this past summer to put on a safe (0 COVID cases) and fun camp experience, and we are doing it again this year! COVID-19 was a challenge for everyone. As you can imagine it was not a great time to be an over night summer camp so we were in a tough spot financially speaking. We made it through thanks to the overwhelming generosity of donors who believe in Christian summer camp! If your full salary comes from a Christian ministry then you have to make hard decisions when the money gets tight. Either you have to take from your ministry to give to your family or the other way around and neither of these things are ideal for a long term situation. Paul said in 2 Thess. 3:8 that he worked day and night so as not to be a burden on the church. As a servant of Jesus I chose to make a move into @railwaycoffee so the campers and my family could thrive (it helps that I love Ruston and coffee as well!). Hopefully, I will see your kids/siblings at camp or you in the shop this year!
