Dope way to start off the semester collaborating once again with the brilliant Allison Yasukawa @yasukawaaaaah to bring ‘Stuff to Know about Disability Justice and Language Justice: A Pedagogical Zine-Making Workshop’ to @saiccp contemporary practices faculty at SAIC School of the Art Institute of Chicago Thank you to @kirsten_leenaars for inviting us to present our individual work and research on language justice and disability justice, how it intersects with race and having us show how it fuels our teaching practices and emboldens our students! (So glad I was able to highlight a few of my former @umndesign student zines from last semester too) Can’t wait to see how @saicpics faculty infuses language justice and disability justice practices into their classrooms!
