I am so excited to share this project that has been on the making for the past few months! This multi-media exploration of modern mothers and daughters was shot in Brooklyn, NYC along side many brilliant talented minds listed below. Our first challenge was casting 5 families. We were specifically looking for mothers and daughters! We were pleasantly surprised with so many great submissions, it really made it hard to do our picks! For each family, we did a small interview and our main question was to the mothers: “If you could pick one attribute that you would like for your daughter to focus on and be her guidance or mantra for her life, what would that be?” In each video I will be sharing this week, you will listen to their words and watch the families interact with each other. There was so much love in the room, some times even tears 🥲 This project is so meaningful to me as a mother of girls and hope it inspires you to think about the things that really matter! The values you would like your children to carry on and appreciate the values your parents and relatives passed on to you. Many many thanks to grandma Chunhee, mother Rocky and kids Wyatt & Will for being a part of this project and sharing your story with us! And of course, to this beautiful team that made it all happen, thank you for your hard work, dedication and for believing in the project!
