Today i went to my first NBA game. And i will be honest it will absolutely be my last. ❌🙅❎I tried to go do something fun after having a difficult few weeks however this game arguably ruined my life. It was disappointing all the way through. First of all the players were not good and they did not seem to want to win that bad to be honest. You would think because they are so tall and close to the rim they would make every basket however this was not true. Whereas in the wnba they make amazing baskets and plays. Second of all everyone (the teams and crowd alike) had a bad attitude and most of the time the players seemed to have their arms out in an incredulous pose like “what is going on”. My answer for them is im not sure either. In the wnba there is interesting personalities .Third the fans were dressed like shit. I actually included a slide of a shirt someone was wearing that was laced up in the back. Let me guess, you got that at the predictable fashion store 😔 at the wnba games, everyone is dressed like they are about to maybe get married or a job promotion. Also i wore a shirt that said “if I miss the jump shot I’ll kill myself” and no one laughed, in fact someone tried to call the ambulance. I gues tbe nba is not quite ACAB. 4. There was no sexual tension because there are no out players. What the hell is the point if someone may not kiss on the court? In the wnba people date their teammates and therefore it’s interesting. I’ve never felt more numb in my life than at this crypto.com arena . I miss the wnba with all my heart and i cannot wait for the spring for this reason. 5. The dancers suck and there is no mascot and the entertainment between game time was abhorrent. And this was my experience at a lakers game no less who allegedly created edging sexually. At wnba games every single moment i am on the edge of my seat with joy or crying. This is just another example of issues with gender by the way! Anyhow In order to deal with my sadness I got a Starbucks drink inside a train station. It gave me a horrible stomach ache but a few sips lifted my mood nonetheless.
