Today is ILD Day. We're raising awareness because Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) affects approximately 15% of those with scleroderma, and it causes serious complications. Do you know what symptoms to look out for? Shortness of breath is a common symptom of all ILDs. Other symptoms include dry, persistent cough, fatigue and weakness, chest discomfort, “clubbing” of the fingertips (thickening of the tissue under fingernails), loss of appetite, and unexplained weight loss.
