When I set out to build my company, it was about the food & drink experience and the atmosphere and high-vibe that’s possible to build around the table. I didn’t realize I was building a “catering” company, I only started calling it catering because it was commercially understandable - I still grapple with the term because the experience and thought that goes into our events is so much more. I first take an idea or purpose for the event from a client, then I consider the time of year, their brand aesthetic and visual touch-points and begin scouring the sites of carefully curated vendors. I work with all types of artisans to create our events: florists, fabricators, scenic builders, paper artists, and graphic designers (to name a few). Simultaneously, I’m also developing the food, wine & cocktail experience. I consider the guests, the style of party, and what’s peak season at the farmers market to develop the menu with my culinary team. The food is hyper-local and tailored to each event, the wine is curated by sommeliers, and cocktails made by mixologists who’ve honed their craft. The result is an enchanting experience, that’s a visual (and literal) feast. I’ve been busy behind the scenes designing a new site and a tableware collection that encompasses all of the work from clients to cooking at home with me.
