From photography showing the first openly lesbian MP, Maureen Colquhoun, who had been deselected from her local party due to her “obsession with trivialities such as women’s rights”. To the theatrical roots of gender non-conformity and a portrait of author Marguerite Radclyffe and partner Una Vincenzo, whose groundbreaking novel ‘The Well of Loneliness’ was band due to its positive portrayal of lesbianism.
