There’s no greater feeling than spending time with role models and athletes at your most vulnerable point in life. When all hope seems lost and your going through chemo therapy, you get the feeling like there’s no end to pain and suffering in the world. At that very moment the guy who plays football on Sundays walks into your hospital room and makes you feel like the superstar. All of that pain goes away and for a moment, you get to feel normal again. Athletes have such a huge platform in our world at all levels.
