Cold mornings can make even the most motivated people hesitate.
When your body wants warmth, rest, and safety, thatβs not a personal flaw- thatβs your nervous system doing its job.
Winter has a way of slowing us down, and that doesnβt mean youβve lost your drive. It means your system is asking for support, not criticism.
π§ CBT tip: Pay attention to the automatic thought that shows up in those moments.
If your mind jumps to βI should be better at thisβ or βWhy am I like this?β pause and ask:
β‘οΈ Is this thought helpful or or not?
Then practice a more balanced reframe:
π βThis is hard right now, and I can still take one small step.β
You donβt need to power through or shame yourself into action.
Gentleness creates momentum.
Small, doable steps count, especially on these cold days.
I see you and Iβm sending hugs.
Share this with someone who also may need it and save it for other π₯Ά days
