Cold mornings can make even the most motivated people hesitate. When your body wants warmth, rest, and safety, that’s not a personal flaw- that’s your nervous system doing its job. Winter has a way of slowing us down, and that doesn’t mean you’ve lost your drive. It means your system is asking for support, not criticism. 🧠CBT tip: Pay attention to the automatic thought that shows up in those moments. If your mind jumps to β€œI should be better at this” or β€œWhy am I like this?” pause and ask: ➑️ Is this thought helpful or or not? Then practice a more balanced reframe: πŸ‘‰ β€œThis is hard right now, and I can still take one small step.” You don’t need to power through or shame yourself into action. Gentleness creates momentum. Small, doable steps count, especially on these cold days. I see you and I’m sending hugs.
