“Get the whole family involved with making small changes that can add up to a big difference,” says Sophia. “Why not challenge yourself to try a new fruit or vegetable every week, or eat all the colours of the rainbow in one day? Vitamin D is really important, and in the UK, most people aren’t getting enough – so commit to getting outside for at least 30 minutes every day. A good night’s sleep is also key for days full of fun – try not to have too much screen time before bed, as this can affect sleep. Making healthy choices is easier with simple hacks, like chopping up frozen fruit to keep on standby for smoothies or ice lollies. This smoothie is inspired by the ones we’re serving the England team at the St George’s Park training ground!”
