👀 swipe 1-6, what’s your fav? incoming emotional post.... so over the past few years i’ve been wanting to make my live show bigger and better. it stemmed with a question that was simple enough but hard for me to answer... “would i want to see my own show?” I don’t know if the answer was an obvious ‘yes’ at that time, but I knew I could build it into something that felt special AND authentic to me. as the pandemic happened i had a lot of time to think about what the “visual aspect” to my show should look like, and how the music should feel for a festival type set. hundreds of hours later of me learning Adobe premiere, photoshop, i started to create visuals that felt like how my music feels to me. typography is huge to me, colours are important, and insane 3D stuff doesn’t interest me. I wanted it to feel minimal and unique but exciting too. this past weekend on Vancouver Island at @laketownshakedown i got to showcase what i’ve been building. i had the final slot of the day, at night, and we debuted all the visuals i’d been working on (thank you @criss_cross403 for running them), all the edits i’d been making for the live versions of my songs, as well as lighting by @bridge.creative. this show is constantly evolving, but it feels so good to step in the right direction and build something special to me. 👀👀 btw tag a friend or a festival on the post who u think might like the show, it goes a long way and really helps support artists to build things like this thank you if you’ve read this whole thing 🙏🏻, -felix
