It’s no surprise that I feel rejuvenated and full after a week on Martha’s Vineyard, Wampanoag territory and a stop on the Underground Railroad, surrounded by Black love. Martha’s Vineyard has my heart, minus the very few white folks whose presence tried (and failed) to impact Black August. Special shout out to @aunt_viv for helping us stay on top of planning that lasts roughly 6 months with all her spreadsheets. @jaythehandy for always having an activity planned, people thought the CornHole game was a computer lol. @lexi.in.the.city for keeping me company in the kitchen when I cooked, breakfast and deep convos. @t.moore212 for non stop foolery!
