The art in maturing a whisky to such an age has required dedication and patience from our makers at the distillery. From the day the new make spirit was filled into the cask, and over the course of its six decades of maturation, is has been tended to by our makers to ensure the whisky has been maturing to good form in its cask. It is at the Malt Master’s discretion to determine which casks are to be held back, only to be released when they are at their best.
