just a littol doodle i’ve been playing with recently 🫧💕✨🧚‍♂️🦀🦕🕉️🤍🪷🧿🌱🤲 a frequent topic of conversation within my community is just how vulnerable music is. someone receives the most exposed, squishy, bizarre, beautiful parts of you before even knowing your name sometimes - and i believe that’s true for all forms of art. performing makes me so anxious for this reason ((aside from the public speaking aspect)). on top of that, we’ve seen social media capitalize on perfectionism in the artist. feeling as though there’s no room for error, whatever that means to u. however, i do see more and more creatives joining together to celebrate individuality and messiness and everything else and although this community can feel small, it’s so so beautiful that it’s happening. love is everywhere. for the past year-ish i’ve been experimenting with live-streams and just posting whatever comes out. it’s really scary most of the time, but i feel it becoming easier. i find that by simply //trying// and creating and LOVING MYSELF more and more radically /through/ my craft, i’m doin the damn thing.
