Book Review on Good Spirits by @B.K. BORISON My full spoiler review is below: From the very start Good Spirits had me hooked with its funny one liners, cozy vibes and a Christmas love story! There’s Harriet who runs an antique shop, doesn’t seem to have a spot of good luck or the best family dynamic, but is bubbly, funny and kind in all the best ways. Then there’s Nolan, an Irish ghost of Christmas past who’s been picked to haunt Harriet to visit her memories to piece together what she has done in her life. But the story wasn’t what it seemed to be. Visiting her past memories seem to leave more questions than answers that left Nolan puzzled. Then things started to change, he could feel her warmer, taste the lemon drops she gave him, and the one night he dreamt of wanting her, when dreaming hadn’t happen since before he was dead. Their connections grows stronger through small little moments, such as sharing treats, quiet conversations and the pull that’s constantly their that neither of them can explain. Nolan starts to come alive once again and he’s loving every second of it, he’s even knitting her a scarf, like come on!! The yearning that builds between them kept me on the edge of my seat, one minute he wants to kiss her, the next he’s frustrated with himself for hoping that it can be different when he knows time isn’t on his side. The chemistry is amazing between the two and when they finally kiss ( he magically grows mistletoe as an excuse to finally kiss her!) it all fits into place. Between the cozy winter vibes, genuinely funny moments, and emotional gut punches I did not see coming, this book absolutely wrecked me. Good Spirits is about love, grief, and finding someone who makes you feel alive again even when it feels impossible. I laughed, I ugly cried, and I finished this book already desperate for the next one. #fyp #booktok #bookreview #goodspirits #bkborison
