A weekend takeover with Biji. This weekend my mum went away (for the first time in AGES) which meant I came back for a few days. Biji has been pestering me to buy her an iPhone for the past few weeks so I finally got her one. I’ve since been warned against putting a SIM card in it by her son who says she will use to call people which often gets her into trouble because she has no tact. As soon as I gave her this one she asked me immediately for another, this time for her sister in exchange for a few bottles of alcohol. When I told her how much an iPhone is she was in complete disbelief so I told her I was of course lying and that I managed to get it for free 😅. I spent Saturday sweeping up crumbs behind her, and being asked every hour to move the washing one meter further into the garden so the sun hits it. On Friday night she asked for chips & on Saturday a pizza which she then complained about for being too thin! She made parathas for us & went to a wedding tasting with a bag full of empty containers. The neighbours gave her some of these green veggies that they are growing, does anyone know the English name for them?! A joyful weekend! I now need some rest 😝♥️
